Calendar – Education – Marquette Regional History Center Presents “What’s in a Name?’ – Feb. 12

Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center will present “What’s in a Name” on Wednesday, February 12 at 7 p.m. at the Center, 145 W. Spring Street in Marquette.

Rosemary Michelin and Jim Koski will share historic photographs, old maps, artifacts and stories that will reveal the origins of streets named after French explorers, U.S. Presidents, Civil War generals, esteemed citizens and more.

A $5 suggested donation will be accepted at the door. For more information, visit www.marquettehistory.org or call 226-3571.
