Marquette – The First Sunday Concert, an afternoon of traditional Finnish music featuring Tanya Stanaway and friends, will be held on Sunday, February 2 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Tanja Stanaway is a Finnish immigrant dedicated to keeping the Finnish culture alive in the U.P. She plays piano, guitar, accordion, violin, cello, clarinet, recorder, and harmonica. For this concert she will be joined by friends Ken Holster, on banjo, and Wil Kilpela, on the accordion .
