Snowmobile Trail #122 in Houghton and Keweenaw Counties Temporarily Closed

Snowmobile Trail #122 in Houghton and Keweenaw counties is temporarily closed, effective immediately, Michigan Department of Natural Resources Parks and Recreation Division officials announced today.

Due to logging operations on private land utilized by the trail, the immediate but temporary closure of Trail #122, from the Dreamland access trail near Lake Linden to Gay, has been deemed necessary.

Businesses in Lake Linden and the Bootjack area will remain accessible off of Trail #122 during the closure. Once logging is completed the trail will reopen to riders.

Alternate suggested routes to Gay are Trail #124 from Phoenix and Trail #133 from Lac La Belle.

For further information regarding these closures, contact Ron Yesney at 906-228-6561.
