Peter White Public Library will host a holiday break screening of the animated feature film “Despicable Me 2” on Monday, December 30 at 5:30pm in the library community room.
Featuring the vocal talents of Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig, this animated film continues the story of ex-super villain, Gru and his loveable minions. Gru is adjusting to family life and making an attempt at an honest living, yet is recruited by the Anti-Villain League in the investigation of a theft of a secret Arctic laboratory by the presumed dead super villain, El Macho. Seemingly blinded by his overprotectiveness of his children and his new love interest, Gru seems on the wrong track even as his minions are being quietly kidnapped en masse for some malevolent purpose.
A Golden Globe nominee, “Despicable Me 2” was released this past July, is rated PG and runs for 98 minutes.
Viewers are invited to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting.
