Marquette – Readers Theater will meet for a reading of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson on Thursday, December 19 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
In this Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids probably the most inventively awful kids in history. What follows is mayhem and fun when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on.
Readers Theater is a group of adults, who are interested in drama and are willing and able to read a scripted role. They meet on the third Thursday of each month to read plays for enjoyment. New readers are always welcome.
