Marquette – The 20th annual Christmas Tapestry concert with performances by The Marquette County Chamber Chorale, The Marquette Male Chorus, and Tintinnier will be offered on Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m. each evening at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1700 W. Fair Avenue in Marquette.
The performance will include the world premiere of “The World Colored by Snow” by local composer Brandon Nelson. This piece was commissioned to celebrate the 20th year of the Christmas Tapestry, and is a setting of seven winter haiku translated by Peter Beilenson. It will be performed by the combined choirs.
Admission is free, but a free will offering will be taken.
