Maquette – The Transition Marquette County Reading Group will discuss winter gardening and dining and the books “Backyard Winter Gardening” by Caleb Warnock and “The Four Seasons Farm Gardener’s Cookbook” by Barbara Damrosch and Eliot Coleman, on Thursday, October 10, at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room of Peter White Public Library.
Warnock shows how to harvest fresh food from your backyard garden all winter long – even after nights of 17 below zero temperatures. Anyone is welcome to join the conversation. It would help to have at least started to read one of the books.
