“Ojibwa Drum Songs,” a documentary film by Michael Loukinen and Grant Guston, will premiere on Friday, April 4 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich Hall Room 102 at NMU. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for children.
“Ojibwa Drum Songs” about 10 years in the making, is a documentary revealing a glimpse into the life of one Ojibwe elder, his stories, and the songs that come to life around the drum. The film also follows the men, women and children who have become family while singing together over the past several years.
