MARQUETTE, MI – Join Tim and Regina Gort for a “Picnic Lunch Family Poetry Workshop” at Echo Lake Nature Preserve on October 5, 2013 at 11 am – 1:00 pm. Children, adults and families will explore their creativity followed by a short hike at the Preserve. Youngsters will play with words to create and illustrate a special poem about how each of us offers a unique perspective of our connection with nature.
Preserve has limited parking. Meet at the MooseWood Nature Center at 10:30am to carpool to the preserve.
* Bring a lunch and water. Writing materials will be provided. Rain, snow or shine!
