(Marquette, MI) — On Saturday, October 12 the Yarnwinders Weaving Guild will host a demonstration and workshop: How to Prepare Your Loom for Weaving. This workshop will be at the MACC at 10a.m.-4p.m. This is a great opportunity to see what it takes to prepare a project. Observe the first steps of the weaving preparation stage using warping boards, warping reels and loom dressing techniques.
Guild members will be present to answer questions and demonstrate all the steps of the weaving preparation process.
