Laughing Whitefish Audubon Society and the Nature Conservancy Present Film — “The Lost Bird Project” – October 9th

Marquette, Michigan — On Wednesday, October 9, the Laughing Whitefish Audubon Society and the Nature Conservancy will jointly present a film called “The Lost Bird Project.” This film documents an attempt to memorialize the 5 North American birds lost to extinction in modern times and includes visits to the location of the last known sighting of each species. The program will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of Peter White Library. Film length is approximately 1 hour. For information, contact the Nature Conservancy office at 225-0399.
