Gladstone – A Taste of the Town, the second annual fundraiser for the Alliance Against Violence and Abuse, will be held on Tuesday, April 3 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Terrace Bay Inn in Gladstone. Restaurants, grocers and food suppliers from Delta, Schoolcraft and Menominee counties will have a variety of food tastes appetizers and hors d'oeuvres available.
Proceeds from the event will help AAVA offset funding losses to maintain the current level of service and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in our communities.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and are available at Canterbury Book Store, MIX 106, Rapaportz, and Gust Asp in Escanaba. For more information, call Hazel Satterly at 789-9207.
