Marquette – The XTERRA Lake Superior Shore Trail Run will be held on Saturday, September 21 beginning with registration at 8:30 a.m. at Little Presque Isle, Marquette.
This challenging trail half-marathon and 5k event is a benefit the youth cross country ski programs through the Superiorland Ski Club of Marquette. Overall first, second and third place winners will receive memberships to CrossFit Marquette.
Several door prizes from community businesses will also be given away.
Smoky the Bear will make an appearance for the free Kids Run, set for noon at Little Presque Isle.
