Lake Superior Youth Theatre will be holding auditions for their upcoming winter production of “Seussical Jr.”. “Seussical Jr.” features various characters from the books of Dr. Seuss including Horton Hears a Who!, The Cat in the Hat, McElliogot’s Pool, Oh, the Thinks You Can Think, and more into one story. All auditions will take place at the Graveraet School, located at 611 N. Front Street, Marquette, MI.
Thursday October 3 Vocal/Acting Auditions 5:30-8:00 by appointment
Friday October 4 Vocal/Acting Auditions 5:30-9:00 by appointment

Monday October 7- DANCE CALLBACKS
5-6 p.m. Ages 8 and under or no dance experience
6-7 p.m. 1-3 years of dance experience
7-8 p.m. 4-8 years of dance experience
8-9 p.m. 9 years of dance experience and gymnasts
Tuesday October 8
5 p.m. Vocal/Acting/Dance Callbacks
Audition callbacks will be held on at Graveraet School.

Youth ages preschool to 12th grade are eligible to audition. Youth actors, singers, gymnasts and dancers are all needed for a variety of parts. Those auditioning will be asked to read from scenes, sing a song, and dance. A pianist will be provided. Those who do not wish to sing a song at auditions may choose not to do so. There is no cost to audition but there is a registration fee to participate in the production. There are special family rates and scholarships available.
Those wishing to serve on Tech Crew can come to an informational meeting/crew interview on Wednesday October 2 from 5-6 p.m. Sign up by emailing or calling.
Performances will take place at Kaufman Auditorium January 24 and 25, 2014
