Calendar – Community – Free Community Electronics Recycling – Sept. 21

Marquette – A Free Community Electronics Recycling will be offered on Saturday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City of Marquette Public Works Building, 850 W. Baraga Avenue.

The collection is open to all residents of Marquette County including families, businesses, school, churches and community organizations. The collection will be accepting most consumer electronics and home office equipment including: computers, monitors, laptops, printers, TVs, cell phones, stereo equipment, microwaves, white goods (refrigerators, dish washers, etc.) and more.

NOTE: Items containing Freon (such as refrigerators, air conditioners and dehumidifiers) will be accepted for a $25 fee to cover Freon removal and recycling; all other electronics will be accepted free of charge.
