Transition Marquette County Reading Group Begins Another Season

(Marquette, Michigan) — The Transition Marquette County Reading Group will begin another season by holding a conversation about the book “After Oil”. edited by John Michael Greer, on Thursday, September 12, at 7pm in the Conference Room of Peter White Public Library. “After Oil” is a collection of short stories by readers of Greer’s blog, The Archdruid Report. Each story raises one or two issues that we might face as fossil fuels become more scarce and expensive, including transportation, food supply, medical situations, family/social relationships, and appropriate use of technology.

Anyone is welcome to join the conversation. It would help to have at least started to read the book. For more information, call Charlie at 226-3314 or email mqtchaz@earthlink.net.
