Marquette – The “Stuff the Bus” collection of school supplies will be held on Monday, August 25 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Marquette.
A bus will be stuffed with school supplies to be distributed to low income families in Marquette County to better prepare children for academic success. Donations of new backpacks, pens, pencils, pencil boxes, pencil sharpeners, notebooks, jumbo book covers, white glue sticks, crayons, scissors, erasers, rulers, markers and personal hygiene items will be accepted.
To participate as a group to “Stuff the Bus” contact Dee Dee Larson at 315-4218 or Ben Platt at 228-3771. People willing to help with the distribution during the week of August 26 are also needed.
