(Marquette, Michigan) — Summer Cinema presents the final film of the season with a screening of “Cloud Atlas” on Thursday, August 29 at 5:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.
Starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry and Jim Broadbent, “Cloud Atlas” is a powerful and inspiring epic drama that explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.
Based on award winning novel by David Mitchell, the film was released in 2012, is rated R; and runs for 172 minutes.
Summer Cinema invites the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting.
