Marquette – Those who wish to organize CROP Walk participation in their faith community or service organization are invited to attend a recruiter kick-off event for the Fifth Annual Marquette County CROP Hunger Walk (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) on Tuesday, September at 6:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette.
CROP Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local volunteers to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world. This kick off will provide materials, information and instructions about the Sunday, October 2 CROP Hunger Walk including online fund raising options, organization of teams and walk information packets.
