Negaunee – The 19th Annual Central U.P. Safe Hunting and Shooting Youth Day will be held on Saturday, September 7 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Negaunee Rod and Gun Club.
The event is free to all youth age 8 to 16. All youth under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Permission slips must be signed by all parents.
There will be events in air rifle, 22 rifle, archery, shotgun and others. Prizes will be awarded. There is a limit of 140 entries. Register by August 30 by calling 475-4173.
