Project Hot Seat at NMU is conducting a cell phone collection fundraiser. Proceeds from the collection will go toward a public screening of the film “Oil on Ice” in April, and toward bringing environmental activist Evon Peters to NMU. Project Hot Seat is part of Greenpeace International's climate change campaign. Cell phone collection boxes are in the Payne/Halvorsen and Gant/Spaulding lobbies, TCF Bank, the Wildcat Den, Peter White Public Library, Marquette Senior High School, Wells Fargo banks, and the Marquette Food Co-op.
