Marquette – A fundraiser for “Because of Mandy” will be held on Saturday, June 22 beginning at 2 p.m. at The Wooden Nickel on Presque Isle Avenue in Marquette.
There will be live music, raffles, door prizes and a silent auction, as well as drink specials and a barbecue. Admission is a $3 donation. Proceeds will go to “Because of Mandy,” a non profit organization that saves dogs from high kill shelters throughout the U.S. The dogs are fostered throughout the U.P. until they are adopted into their forever homes.
