Calendar – Community – Quincy Smelter Tours – June 22

Hancock – Tours of the Quincy Smelter will be offered on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 488991 Maple Street in Hancock.

Tours begin on the hour with the last tour at 2 p.m. The Quincy Smelter is the only intact historical copper smelter in the country. It’s a rare opportunity to see a part of America’s industrial heritage on the country’s way to becoming the manufacturing center of the world in the 20th century.

Admission is $5 per person. Children under 10 will be admitted free and AAA members will receive a discount.
