Michigamme – The Michigamme-Spurr Independence Day Celebration will begin on Thursday, July 4 at 11 a.m. with a parade down Main Street in Michigamme.
This year’s theme for the parade is “In a Land of Fun and Sun, Michigamme’s 4th is #1.” Cash prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries. After the parade, there will be food, fun and games at the Michigamme Township Park.
