Northern Michigan University male athletes, fraternity members and student organization representatives are invited to enter a “Mr. Wildcat” competition being held on Tuesday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. in room 102 of Jamrich Hall. The NMU Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America is coordinating the event as a fundraiser for citizens and refugees of the Darfur region of Sudan, Africa. There will be three parts to the competition: the best representation of a “Yooper,” a two minute talent portion and a question and answer session. Those wishing to compete need to register by March 18. Registration forms are at the TCF Bank in the University Center. Tickets for those who wish to attend the event are $3 for students with i.d. and $5 for the general public.
