Marquette – Cookie Mining, part of the Summer Reading and Listening Program “Dig Into Reading,” will be held Wednesday, June 19 at 1 p.m. in the Children’s Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Dig into chocolate chip cookies to learn about mining with geologists from Cliffs Natural Resources. Math skills are necessary. Ages 8 and up are welcome and the event is free. To register, call 226-4323 or ask at the Childrens Desk.
