An educational seminar on extreme obesity and surgical options available will be held on Monday, March 17 at 6 p.m. in Conference Room 1 at Marquette General Hospital. Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Wayne English will describe the types of weight loss surgeries, explain the requirements and guidelines before and after surgery, and lifestyle changes that are necessary following surgery. The presentation will also discuss the importance of support groups that are available for post-bariatric patients. Registration is encouraged.
