Marquette A training session for kids interested in joining the Kid Bizness Program will be held on Tuesday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum.
With funding from a grant from the Davenport Foundation, the Museum developed the program and included a portion of Sprout, its gift and toy store, for products created by Upper Peninsula youth. The program is designed to help young entrepreneurs get their start in the business world.
The youth must create their own products at home or elsewhere. The Museum will not be providing supplies or production facilities. The program is open to all young people from throughout the Upper Peninsula.
