Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter celebrating spring by hosting at “Pounce Into Spring” cat and kitten event Thursday, May 9 through Sunday, May 12 at the shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
During the event UPAWS is offering 50% off the adoption rate of all the wonderful homeless cats and kittens aged 6 months and up. The adoption fee includs the spay/neuter, health check, vaccinations, 24PetWatch Microchip, 30days of free ShelterCare Pdt Insurance, and a discount coupon for Dr. Tim’s cat food.
The shelter is open seven days a week from noon to 4 p.m. except on Thursdays, when the hours are extended from noon to 6:30 p.m. For more information, go to www.upaws.org or call 475-6661.
