Manistique – A Community Contra Dance will be held on Thursday, May 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Manistique Elks Hall in Manistique.
There will be reels, longways, circles, squares, and a unique blend of old and new, with caller Sue Robishaw and foot stomping, old-time music by “Frost Dancing.” No dance experience is necessary. Please bring low heeled shoes and a “potluck” snack to share.
All ages from teens to adults are welcome. Tickets are $8 at the door.
