Marquette – A Family Tree Mosaic Tiles Workshop will be offered on Saturday, April 27from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center Classroom on Spring Street in Marquette.
Learn about Mosaic tile work with a family tree twist. Create one 12”X12” mosaic glass tile focused on a single family member or a theme of your family heritage. Add your own touches by incorporating your own objects that mean something special to you. All other supplies will be provided to build your tile including glass, gems, and stones.
The workshop is offered to beginners ages 12 and up. Instructed by Jessica “Red” Bays, the registration fee $15, materials fee is $20. Advanced registration and materials fee payment is required.
