Marquette – Join the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum and Rio Tinto for an evening of science and mining on Friday, April 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rio Tinto Information Center in downtown Marquette.
They will be mining chocolate chip cookies, core drilling cupcakes, experimenting with pH, and more. Ages six and up are welcome. The event is free with no registration necessary. The first 15 visitors will receive a 50% off coupon to the U.P. Children’s Museum.
