Houghton – Hancock’s Sesquicentennial Gala Dinner celebrating Hancock’s 150th birthday will be held on Friday, April 12 beginning with social hour at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Union Building at Michigan Tech in Houghton.
Dinner will be at 7 p.m., followed by a program at 8 p.m. which will include comments by Senator Tom Casperson, Representative Scott Dianda, David Nyberg and more.
The book “Hidden Gems and Towering Tales: A Hancock, Michigan Anthology” will be released this evening and all attendees will receive a copy of the book.
Tickets are on sale at Hancock City Offices. Tickets are $60 each or $100 for two.
