Marquette – Action Day 2008 Conference will take place on Tuesday, Septemner 16 beginning at 9 a.m. at Northern Michigan University.
The conference is geared toward people with all types of disabilities and their families, friends and guardians, as well as advocates and professionals in the medical, rehabilitation and mental health fields. Over 20 workshops on a wide variety of topics will be offered.
Registration costs $35 for individuals with disabilities, $45 for professionals and $20 for an accompanying personal assistant. Registration fee scholarships are available.
