Marquette – Afternoon Classic Films will present a screening of “”The Great Dictator”” on Monday, April 1 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

This film is an American comedy starring, written, produced, composed, and directed by Charlie Chaplin, following the tradition of many of his other films. This was Chaplin’s first true talking picture as well as his most commercially successful film. The black and white film was released in 1940 and runs for 120 minutes.
