Marquette – Citizens for Peace and Justice will sponsor a showing of the film, “Pink Smoke over the Vatican” on Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter white Public Library.
This documentary film explores the issue of woman’s ordination in the Roman Catholic Church. The film, which has won several awards, shows the struggle of women to live their faith and conscience in spite of facing excommunication by defying the Vatican’s ban on women’s ordination.
