Big Bay – The Big Bay Antique and Vintage Snowmobile Show will be held Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23 at the Big Bay Motel on County Road 550, 25 miles northwest of Marquette.
A 30-mile winter wonderland ride, for 1985 and older sleds, will be held Friday leaving the motel at 10 a.m. The entry fee is $5 per person and helmets are mandatory. The day also will include a pig roast and bonfire.
A spectator show will begin on Saturday with 9 a.m. registration and will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Mannequin Display Contest also will be held. The fee is $10 to register a mannequin(s) dressed in the era of the machine being displayed.
Additional activities will include a mini sled fun run for children age 10 and younger, a Sawdust Treasure Hunt, a snowman contest and a raffle.
