Marquette – February 14, 2013 – Northern Michigan University hosted their annual Summer Job Fair from 1-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 13th in the Great Lakes Rooms at the University Center.
Students of all ages with all major came to see what Michigan’s Upper Peninsula had to offer. From summer camps to the Navy the students had a ton of opportunities to choose from, including Great Lakes Radio!
At the Great Lakes Radio table you could sign up for a free lunch or get an instant lunch for filling out a survey. Rita Noordyk, GLR Business Manger, and Heather Seppanen, GLR Broadcaster and Multimedia Reporter, explained to the prospective employees and handed out information on jobs Great Lakes Radio offered. Available positions were for a sales executive and marketing executive as well as on-air DJ’s and interns, media interns, sports broadcasters, graphic design, website design, news writing, community promotions, social networking, and blogging.
Thanks you to NMU for hosting the great event and to all the students who were interested in Great Lakes Radio. Heather and Rita received a handful of resumes.
