Marquette – Tasty Reads, a book group for readers who love to cook, will meet for a lunchtime book discussion on Monday, February 25 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This months book selection is ”Angelina’s Bachelors” by Brian and Virginia OReilly.
The novel is about young, recently widowed, Angelina DAngelo, who copes with her grief and loss by pouring herself into her passion for cooking. She makes so much food that she winds up delivering the spoils to the neighbors in her tight-knit Italian community in South Philadelphia.
Participants are invited enjoy sample recipes from the book and new members are always welcome. The Tasty Reads meets the third Monday of each month at the library and there is no admission charge. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
