Gwinn – A benefit for Shawna Herman will be held on Saturday, February 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Gwinn VFW Post. There will be a spaghetti dinner, a silent auction, a bake sale and 50/50 raffles.
Shawna has undergone open heart surgery to have an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) placed in her heart. This device will help pump the blood through her heart and to the rest of her body, with hopes of one day making her an acceptable recipient for a heart transplant.
