Calendar – Films/Documentaries – BYOC (Bring Your Own Chocolate) Film – Feb. 14

Marquette – In celebration of Valentine’s Day, a BYOC (Bring Your Own Chocolate) Film “Shakespeare in Love” will be shown on Thursday, February 14 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

A fast-moving romantic comedy set in London in 1593, the seven time Oscar winning film is the story of William Shakespeare, a struggling young playwright who suffers from writer’s block. When Shakespeare meets and falls instantly in love with the startlingly beautiful Viola, his creative powers are unleashed as Romeo and Juliet, one of the greatest and most tragic love stories of all time.

The 1998 film is rated R and runs for 122 minutes. There is no charge for admission and attendees are welcome to bring their own refreshments. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
