Marquette – Ishpeming nativc Kathleen Sheridan will offer a presentation on “People of Uganda: Facing Conflict and Surviving” on Friday, August 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Upper Peninsula Medical Center on Fair Avenue in Marquette.
The community is invited to learn more about the situation in Uganda.
Kathleen has volunteered for a year with Medair, which provides humanitarian aid to the displaced people of Uganda and will be leaving soon.
The program is free of charge. Photographs will be on display and available for a donation.
