Big Bay – The Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve will offer a guided backcounty ski tour on Saturday, February 2 beginning at 10 a.m. at the YDWP office, 303Bensinger in Big Bay.
This is a fun-raiser for watershed protection and preservation. Intermediate to experienced skiers are welcome for the trip. Yoga in the snow aka “Snowga” will follow with local certified yoga instructor Alexandra Kralova-Zender.
Participants will carpool to take a lovely ski along the Yellow Dog River’s edge, stopping for a campfire, snacks and cups of hot tea and cocoa.. Plan on being outdoors for 3 to 4 hours and you will need to have your own ski equipment.
