
Marquette, Michigan – DocuMonday presents a film screening of Thunder Soul on Monday, February 4 at 7:00 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.
Presented by Jamie Foxx, THUNDER SOUL follows the extraordinary alumni from Houstons storied Kashmere High School Stage Band, who return home after 35 years to play a tribute concert for the 92-year-old Prof, their beloved band leader, Conrad Johnson, who broke the color barrier and transformed the schools struggling jazz band into a world-class funk powerhouse in the early 1970s.

Winner of numerous film festival awards, Thunder Soul was released in 2011, is rated PG, and runs for 83 minutes.
