Marquette – Four weeks of classes on Japanese Culture, for children in grades 3 through 5, will be offered beginning on Wednesday, February 6 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center on the lower level of the Peter White Public Library.
Children will learn basic Japanese words, how to eat with chopsticks, origami and more. Instructor is Tomoko Inoue from Great Lakes Center for Youth Development. Tomoko grew up in Kiryu, Japan.
