Marquette – The Marquette YMCA will host its first annual Bench Press and Squat Competition on Wednesday, August 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the gym.
Weigh in will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and the start of the event will be at 5:45 p.m.
Each participant will receive a t-shirt. First and second place winners in each division will receive a ribbon.
Registration fees prior to the event are $15 for YMCA members and $20 for non-members. Fees increase by $5 on August 27.
To participate in both the bench press and squat competition, an additional $5 will be assessed.
