Marquette – The U.P. Run for the Fallen will be held on Sunday, August 24 beginning with registration at 10:30 a.m. at Advantedge Training, 1007 Harbor Hills Drive in Marquette.
The 9 mile memorial run/walk to remember the nine U.P. soldiers lost in Operation Iraqi Freedom will start at 11 a.m.
Participation is free. Donations will be accepted, with all money going to support The Wounded Warrior Project, Yellow Ribbon Fun, HUGGS(Helping Unite Gold Star Survivors) and the 1st Lt. Michael J. Cleary Memorial Fund.
