Deerton – The AuTrain-Onota Public School students, staff and Parent-Teacher-Community Group will have their annual Valentine ice-cream social for families, friends and community members on Friday, February 13 at 1:45 p.m.
The social will include special student presentations, activities and the wrap-up of the Have A Helping Heart drive, the third and fourth grade service learning project.
Donations of non-perishable food items, paper products and personal hygiene items will be accepted through February 13. Donations will go to the Munising Salvation Army for distribution in Alger County.
There will also be a bake sale sponsored by the fifth and sixth grades and a book fair to benefit the school library. For more information, call the school at 343-6632.
