Gwinn – The community is invited to meet the Modeltowners and Santa on Saturday, December 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gwinn High School.
There will be cheerleaders cheering, boys varsity basketball vs. alumni, girls varsity basketball vs. alumni, boys and girls JV basketball vs. staff, wrestling demos/practice, and middle school basketball demos/practice.
Other activities will include a meet and greet with Santa, carnival games, inflatable games for youth, face painting, a sports ball raffle. and a 50/50 raffle. There will also be free popcorn and refreshments.
Bring a non-perishable food item, hats, mittens, gloves or socks to donate to the needy and receive a free hot dog.
This event is in conjunction with the Gwinn Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to be held at 6 p.m. in Peter Nordeen Park.
