Marquette – Marquette Township Christmas Tree Lighting and the arrival of Santa via fire truck will be held on Tuesday, November 27 at 6 p.m. at the Westwood Mall in Marquette Township.
The Marquette Redmen Chorale will provide special music. There is a report that the Grinch will try to disrupt the holiday spirit, so the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and Santa’s elves will be on alert.
Cookies and hot chocolate will be offered inside the Westwood Mall and Santa will be talking to the children. Free horse-drawn wagon rides will be offered in the mall parking lot.
